摘要 <p>The method involves determining the vortex shedding frequency by the vortex frequency sensor introduced into the flow obstruction. The rate of flow is measured separately, and the relation between the Reynolds number and the Strouhal number is calculated to determine the viscosity of fluid. The measurement of velocity of the flow is performed in series with the measurement of vortex shedding frequency. The measurement of the velocity of the flow takes place in front of the obstruction. An independent claim is included for device for performing on-line measurement of viscosity of fluid.</p>
