<p>Pultrusion tool (1) for fiber-reinforced plastic (FRP) hollow profile, comprises a molding- and curing zone (1a) comprising a molding core (2) and a heating device (3), a foaming zone present downstream to the molding- and curing zone, and at least one supply line (4) for a foamable composition, which extends longitudinally into the foaming zone through the molding core. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a pultrusion system comprising several fiber spindles, an impregnating station, above pultrusion tool in pultrusion direction, and a withdrawal device; and (2) producing foamed FRP hollow profile using the pultrusion system, comprising (a) withdrawing several reinforcing fibers from the fiber shafts, (b) guiding the fibers by the impregnating device and impregnating the fibers with a curable plastic material, (c) transferring the impregnated fibers into the pultrusion tool and arranging the fibers around the molding core, (d) heating the pultrusion tool in the molding- and curing zone, and hardening the plastic material to obtain the fiber reinforced plastic hollow section, (e) supplying the foamable composition using the supply line, through the molding core, into the resulting FRP hollow profile, within the foaming zone of the pultrusion tool, and (f) foaming and curing the foamable composition.</p> |
