<p>This fastening member (10, 30, 40, 50) has a shape-retaining member (25, 35, 45, 55) attached to at least one of a pair of tapes (12, 32, 42, 52). The shape-retaining member (25, 35, 45, 55) is attached to the tape (12, 32, 42, 52) by means of a sewing thread (26, 27, 28, 56). The sewing thread (26, 27, 28, 56) traverses one surface of the shape-retaining member (25, 35, 45, 55) in a zigzag pattern as the sewing thread pierces the tape (12, 32, 42, 52) beyond the first and second side edges of the shape-retaining member (25, 35, 45, 55). Because the shape-retaining member (25, 35, 45, 55) is thereby attached after formation of the tape (12, 32, 42, 52), it is possible to provide the tape (12, 32, 42, 52) with various colors or patterns without melting the shape-retaining member (25, 35, 45, 55).</p> |
