<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient illumination device which improves CRI. <P>SOLUTION: In an illumination device, a plurality of packaged LEDs 16 are arranged via an insulation region 12 in a heat diffusion element 11, and each of LEDs contains a luminescent material. Light combined with light being emitted from a single packaged LED and the luminescent material through the illumination device, generates combined light corresponding to one point which is in the CIE chromaticity diagram in 1931 and has a first correlation collar temperature. Light combined with light being emitted from another packaged LED and the luminescent material through the illumination device, generates combined light corresponding to another point which is in the CIE chromaticity diagram in 1931 and has a second correlation collar temperature being different from the first correlation collar temperature. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
