<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable which thins its diameter while adequately maintaining appearance, breaking strength and voltage resistance, and further is manufactured while reducing a cost, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The cable 10 is formed by covering a circumference of a pair of insulation wires 1 that are twisted each other, with a sheath 6. The insulation wire 1 is formed by covering a conductor 4 that has a cross-section area of 0.18 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or more but 0.30 mm<SP POS="POST">2</SP>or less and is made of a tin copper alloy, with an insulating body 5 of crosslinked polyethylene. The sheath 6 comprises an inner sheath 2 that is extruded so as to cover the circumference of the pair of the insulation wires 1 and made of non-crosslinked polyurethane, and an external sheath 3 that is extruded so as to cover a circumference of the inner sheath 2 and made of non-crosslinked polyurethane.
