<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information output system for easily attaching a dot pattern to various products, and for easily outputting information only by reading the dot pattern and provide a dot pattern tape to be used for the information output system. <P>SOLUTION: The information output system includes: a dot pattern tape body printed on a file, and configured such that an adhesive layer is arranged outside the film; a dot pattern tape configured such that the dot pattern tape body is adhered to a mount tape so as to be peelable; and a pen type terminal having a device for recording voice, an optical reading device, a device for storing the recorded voice and coordinate position code information on the optically read dot pattern in association, and a voice output device for outputting voice.
