A cooling system for cooling a heat source comprises: a channel (116) through which a liquid medium for cooling the heat source is circulated; a pump (104) for circulating the liquid medium, the pump being provided on the channel (116); a rotational speed detection unit (114) for detecting the true rotational speed of the pump (104); and a control device (30) for controlling the discharge flow rate of the pump (104). The control device (30) calculates the standard deviation of the true rotational speed as a degree of variance in the true rotational speed of the pump (104) during a predetermined duration. The control device (30) controls the discharge flow rate of the pump (104) in accordance with the standard deviation of the true rotational speed thus calculated. |
