<p>A connecting mechanism for a cover and a main body of a toilet. The connecting mechanism comprises a seat shaft sleeve, a cover shaft sleeve, and a rotating shaft component. The rotating shaft component is inserted into the shaft sleeves of the seat and of the cover. The seat and the cover rotate around the rotating shaft component to lift up the cover or the seat. A base (30) is provided with a supporting rod (11). The rotating shaft component comprises a connecting shaft (12) and a sleeve ring (13). The connecting shaft (12) is provided with a jack (122) for insertion by the supporting rod (11) of the base. A sidewall of the midsection of the supporting rod has arranged thereon an annular groove (111). The sleeve ring (13) corresponding to the jack (122) of the connecting shaft has arranged thereon and along the circumference of the jack an arcuate tapered hole (14). The arcuate tapered hole (14) is provided with at least one first segment hole having a size grater than the cross-section of the supporting rod (11), allowing the supporting rod (11) to be inserted along the first segment hole. The arcuate tapered hole (14) is also provided with a second segment hole having a size smaller than the cross-section of the supporting rod (11) but greater than the cross-section of the annular groove (111) of the supporting rod (11). The annular groove (111) is correspondingly matched on the sleeve ring (13). When the supporting rod (11) rotates away from the first segment hole, the annular groove (111) of the supporting rod (11) is in the second segment hole of the arcuate tapered hole (14), a hole edge (141) and an arc edge (142) of two sides along the width direction of the arcuate tapered hole (14) on the sleeve ring (13) are jammed on the annular groove (111), thereby implementing installation and locking of the toilet cover.</p> |
