<p>A tri-peptide GHK compound having a lipophilic moiety with at least three carbon atoms bound to the amine group on the side chain of amino acid lysine of a tri-peptide GHK, and at least one copper atom bound to the tri-peptide GHK. The lypophilic moiety may be selected from the group consisting of propionyl, caproyl, lauryl, palmitoyl, stearoyl, oleyl, eicosanoyl, docsanoyl, propyl, hexyl, dodecyl, hexadecyl, octadecyl, eicosanyl, and docosanyl. The tri- peptide GHK compound may be contained within a topical cosmetic formulation to form a tri-peptide GHK composition. The topical cosmetic formulation may be topically administered in an effective amount to treat aged skin.</p> |
