<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking support device that prevents a knee joint from being bent when a user cannot support his or her own weight. <P>SOLUTION: The walking support device 100 includes a thigh link 10, a lower leg link 20, a first auxiliary link 30, and a second auxiliary link 40. The links configure a closed link structure. A closed link is configured such that an internal angle of the closed link structure is 180 degrees where the rotation center of a connection part between the first auxiliary link and the second auxiliary link is used as a vertex, as viewed from the side when a user extends a knee. The lower leg link 20 has a magnet 60 attracting the second auxiliary link 40. When the user extends the knee, the magnet 60 attracts the second auxiliary link 40.
