<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic component mounting machine and a component height measuring method capable of easily measuring a height of an electronic component. <P>SOLUTION: An electronic component mounting machine 1 comprises: altitude sensors 6f, 6r having detection faces 610f with a detection altitude h1 approximately identical to a substrate upper face altitude h0; a suction nozzle 91 having a suction face 910 sucking an electronic component P; and a control part 10 for executing a suction face contact step for making the suction face 910 in contact with the detection face 610f and making a suction face altitude identical to the detection altitude h1, i.e., the substrate upper face altitude h0, a component lower face contact step for making a lower face of the electronic component P sucked by the suction nozzle 91 in contact with the detection face 610f and making a component lower face altitude identical to the detection altitude h1, i.e., the substrate upper face altitude h0, and a component height calculation step for calculating the height of the electronic component P from a difference between a falling amount L0 of the suction nozzle 91 in the suction face contact step and a falling amount L1 of the suction nozzle 91 in the component lower face contact step. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
