<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a zoomable stereoscopic photograph viewer in which a fusion is not diverged to double images in zoom-in and a natural fusion can be viewed when a stereoscopic photograph is viewed. <P>SOLUTION: The stereoscopic photograph viewer includes: a stereoscopic display device displaying a left eye image and a right eye image for a viewer; and a display controller supplying the image. The left eye image and the right eye image are displayed to the viewer. An interval D between the right and left images displayed on the stereoscopic display device is changed in accordance with a magnification ratio m of zoom-in (zoom-out). Thus, a fusion position is prevented from moving or is moved to this side (in the back). Especially, D=α×(1/m-β)<SP POS="POST">p</SP>is obtained with α and β as constants and 0≤p≤1. Zooming is performed by changing a distance t between ends of the right and left stereoscopic photographs as a function of the magnification ratio m. Constants a, b and k are determined at a limit point of the zoom-in and zoom-out with 1≤n≤2, a, b and k as the constants and the distance t as the function of the magnification ratio m becoming a×(1/m-k)<SP POS="POST">n</SP>+b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
