<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for recovering failure during a conference. <P>SOLUTION: The communication system according to the present invention has a first communication endpoint, a first MCU communicated with the first communication endpoint, and a second MCU communicated with the first MCU. The first MCU has a first memory for storing a conference setting for the first communication endpoint relating to a first conference, and a first processor communicated with the first memory executing a conference relating to the first communication endpoint according to the conference setting.
