<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cell synchronization with a base station of an LTE-TDD system in a state of using another radio system. <P>SOLUTION: The present invention is applied to a mobile terminal capable of using a plurality of radio systems. The mobile terminal of the present invention includes: an automatic gain controller for controlling a reception system gain to be set into an amplifier and an analog-digital converter; a saturation detector for detecting the lower-limit saturation of the reception system gain; and a controller for calculating, on detection of the lower-limit saturation of the reception system gain in a first trial section in which the reception of a synchronous signal included in a downlink signal is tried, an initial value of the reception system gain in a second trial section, to instruct the automatic gain controller to fix an initial value of the reception system gain in the second trial section to the calculated initial value. On receiving the instruction from the controller, the automatic gain controller fixes the initial value of the reception system gain in the second trial section to the initial value calculated by the controller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
