<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outboard motor capable of reducing vibration of an engine. <P>SOLUTION: The outboard motor 1 includes an engine 2, a flywheel 33, a damper 34, and a twisting member 35. The flywheel 33 is arranged above an upper end part 16 of a crankshaft 9. The damper 34 is arranged above the flywheel 33 in a state apart from the flywheel 33. The damper 34 is connected to the twisting member 35 arranged along a crank axial line L1 above the upper end part 16 of the crankshaft 9.
