<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steer-by-wire type steering device capable of suppressing power consumption of a toe angle adjusting motor, by preventing a non-rotary divided shaft and a rotary divided shaft of a steered shaft from mutually slipping out when adjusting a toe angle. <P>SOLUTION: The steer-by-wire type steering device includes the steered shaft 10 for mutually joining the non-rotary divided shaft 10A and the rotary divided shaft 10B by a screw joint portion. A steered wheel is steered by integrally moving both divided shafts 10A and 10B in an axial direction. The rotary divided shaft 10B is rotated with respect to the non-rotary divided shaft 10A, and the toe angle of the steered wheel is changed by adjusting the threadedly engaging length of the screw joint portion. The one divided shaft 10A is provided with an engaged member 90 having collar parts 90b and 90c expanding in a radial direction. The other divided shaft 10B is provided with an engaging member 91 for regulating the movement in the relative axial direction of both divided shafts 10A and 10B to a side for shortening the threadedly engaging length by engaging with the collar part 90c when the threadedly engaging length of the screw joint portion becomes a specific length or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
