A rotor of a rotating electrical machine according to the present invention is provided with: a bobbin (50) that comprises first and second latching sections (60, 61) provided extending from the radially outward side of a first flange section (51) and a second flange section (52) respectively, said first flange section (51) and second flange section (52) being provided on both sides of a winding section (59) in the axial direction; and a field coil (15) that is configured by a conductor wire (40) being wound around the bobbin (5) such that a winding-end section (41) of the conductor wire (40) is wound around and latched onto the second latching section (61), and a lead wire (42) drawn out from the winding-end section (41) of the conductor wire (40) via the second latching section (61) is wound around and latched onto the first latching section (60). The length of the second latching section (61) in the radial direction was configured to be shorter than the length of the first latching section (60) in the radial direction.
