Disclosed are a method and device for data service protection. The method comprises: judging whether or not a terminal is in a data service status when a voice call is connecting; and rejecting the voice call if the terminal is in the data service status. The technical solution of the present invention solves the problem in the prior art that important data transmissions can be disrupted by voice calls and thereby achieves the effect of protecting important data transmissions.
