<p>Provided is a CO2 recovery method and apparatus with which desorption and recovery of CO2 from a processed gas discharged out of a power generation plant equipped with a boiler and a steam turbine is carried out with low energy consumption. According to the present invention, two adsorbent filling tanks (21, 31), each of which accommodates a CO2 adsorption material installed at a CO2 recovery apparatus (20), perform CO2 adsorption and desorption alternately. During CO2 desorption, some of the steam discharged through an outlet of a steam turbine (4) of a power generation plant (1) before entering a condenser (6) is separated, sent to a steam compressor (37) to be compressed and heated, sent to a cooler (29), and then cooled to prepare vapor for desorption. The vapor is supplied to the adsorbent filling tanks (21, 31) for CO2 desorption. Exhaust steam which has not yet entered the condenser (6) may be used to prepare the vapor for desorption.</p> |
