This input device comprises: a touch panel whereon a friction part is formed which has a different friction coefficient from another part within an input region which detects a contact of an input means, and which outputs a signal according to a contact point at which the input means makes contact; a storage unit which stores a process quantity which corresponds to a transition of a location of the contact point upon the friction part; and a control unit which, when the location of the contact point which is denoted by the signal which is outputted from the touch panel transitions upon the friction part, carries out a process according to the process quantity which is stored in the storage unit corresponding to the location of the contact point.
