<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve equalization of thermal insulation characteristics throughout a thermal insulation box and improvement in the thermal insulation performance thereof by improving the flow property of polyurethane foam. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal insulation box has a plurality of surfaces filled with polyurethane foam between an outer box and an inner box. The standard deviation of density of the polyurethane foam in the vicinity of the center of each surface of the plurality of surfaces is ≤1.5 kg/m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>. In the thermal insulation box including polyurethane foam packed in between the outer box and the inner box through a filling port of the outer box, the polyurethane 20-25 mm in thickness at a portion distant at least 500 mm from the filling port has a heat conductivity of 17.0-19.0 mW/mK at an average temperature of 10°C, and a dimensional change rate after leaving for 24 hours at 70°C and at -20°C in the air of ≤2%. The compression strength of the polyurethane foam at the portion distant at least 500 mm from the filling port is ≥150 kPa. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
