<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent media from flowing through an MGW of a mobile communication system, when handling communication between mobile terminals capable of using UMA(Unlicensed Mobile Access). <P>SOLUTION: A WLAN is utilized for media transfer in a cellular mobile network. A communication network has a first exchange node, a second exchange node, a gateway exchange node, a first WLAN AP providing a service to a first mobile terminal capable of using the WLAN, and a second WLAN AP providing a service to a second mobile terminal capable of using the WLAN.
