Provided is a hot water supply system whereby the control boards can be made compact in size, the temperature and other conditions inside the hot water tank can be detected accurately, and the amount of hot water and the like can be detected. The system is provided with: a hot water tank (7) for storing hot water; a plurality of temperature sensors (8a-8f) attached to the hot water tank (7) along the heightwise direction thereof, for detecting the temperature at the respective attachment locations; a main-unit-side hot water supply device (1) and a subsidiary-unit-side hot water supply device (4), for heating hot water in the hot water tank (7); a main-unit-side control board (3) and a subsidiary-unit-side control board (6) having mounted thereon a control means for controlling the hot water supply devices. Signals sent by the plurality of temperature sensors (8a-8f) are distributed and input to the main-unit-side control board (3) and the subsidiary-unit-side control board (6), and a communication connection is made between the control boards by a transmission line (11).
