The servo drive has a servo motor and a drive linkage. The linkage pivots about an axis which coincides with the servo motor axis. The servo drive includes a limited torque clutch to prevent damage to the motor or the linkage. A simple drive linkage has two linked drive arms coupled to the flap. Alternately a flexible cable drive can be used.
