<p>Disclosed are a method and device for a service to return to an initial route. The method includes: saving the initial route connection information about a service; establishing a recovery route connection and switching the service to the recovery route connection when the current working route connection of the service has failed; and switching the service from the recovery route connection to the initial route connection according to the saved initial route connection information when a preset switching condition is triggered. After rerouting occurs in a non-return service, the initial route can be returned automatically, rapidly and accurately, ensuring the stability and extensibility of the network. In the case of service layering, a non-return service can realize similar functions as a return service at a higher layer, and the idle bandwidth resources of the current network can be utilized to the greatest extent.</p> |
