<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method for recovering fluorine, capable of effectively removing the fluorine in the water. <P>SOLUTION: The fluorine recovering apparatus includes: a deposition device 1 allowing fluoride ion-containing water to react with calcium to deposit a calcium fluoride; a mixing tank 6 for mixing a filter aid including particles of a magnetic material and having a primary particle size of 0.5 to 5 μm with a dispersion medium to produce slurry; a filter aid feed tank 7 for feeding the filter aid to the mixing tank; a filter 8 for filtering the slurry and depositing the filter aid on the filter; a cleaning mechanism for removing the deposited filter aid from a solid-liquid separator; a separation tank 10 for separating the filter aid and the calcium fluoride; and a returning mechanism for returning the filter aid, which is separated by the separation tank, to the filter aid feeder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
