METHOD FOR PRODUCING SILICONE RUBBER COMPOUND AND SILICONE RUBBER COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a silicone rubber compound in a reduced blending time, having excellent resistance to plasticity reversion and giving a cured silicone rubber having excellent compression set resistance even without performing heat-treatment at a high temperature.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the silicone rubber compound comprises mixing of components (A)-(C) and heat-treatment of the mixture to manufacture a silicone rubber compound. (A) is an organopolysiloxane having a polymerization degree of ≥100 and represented by formula (I): R1aSiO(4-a)/2(R1is an unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; and (a) is 1.95-2.05); (B) is reinforcing silica having a specific surface area of ≥50 m2/g measured by the BET adsorption method; and (C) is a preliminary hydrolysis product of (C-1) and (C-2); (C-1) is an alkoxysilane represented by formula (II): R2mSi(OR3)4-m(R2is a hydrogen atom or unsubstituted or substituted monovalent hydrocarbon group; R3is unsubstituted or substituted alkyl; and m is 0, 1, 2 or 3); and (C-2) is water.
