<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device that can be thinned as a whole with the use of a planar light-emitting body free from exposing a lamp image even if the whole device is thinned and with the planar light-emitting body and a mounting member integrally structured. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes the planar light-emitting body 2, the mounting member 3 mounting the planar light-emitting body 2, and a diffusion sheet 4 for covering these above.
