<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor that reduces an influence of periodic changes in magnetic fluxes associated with torsional displacement and stabilizes outputs of a magnetic sensor. <P>SOLUTION: A torque sensor 2 is constituted by: a torsion bar 13 for coaxially connecting an input axis 11 and an output axis 12; a multipolar magnet 14 fixed to the input axis 11; a pair of magnetic yokes 31, 32 fixed to the output axis 12; a pair of magnetism collecting rings 611, 612 for collecting magnetic fluxes from the magnetic yokes 31, 32; and a magnetic sensor 41 for detecting a magnetic flux density. The pair of the magnetism collecting rings 611, 612 are formed in elliptical shapes and have maximum distances to the multipolar magnet 14 at a magnetism collecting part 61a provided with the magnetic sensor 41. Namely, the magnetic sensor 41 is arranged to be distanced from the multipolar magnet 14 as much as possible. As a result, the influence of periodic changes in magnetic fluxes on the magnetic sensor 41 is reduced.
