<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow loose dimensional control of components and reduce manufacturing costs in a rotor where a rotor core, a magnet, and a sleeve are fixed to one another, and the sleeve and a rotating shaft are fixed to each other, by means of press fitting or the like. <P>SOLUTION: A rotor for a stepping motor includes: a cylindrical rotating shaft 10; a sleeve 20 that is fitted to the rotating shaft 10; a magnet 30 that is fitted to the sleeve 20 and has a shaft hole with a circular cross-section; and rotor cores 40 that are fitted to the sleeve 20 so as to sandwich the magnet 30 therebetween and that have respective shaft holes with circular cross-sections. The rotating shaft 10 and the sleeve 20 are fixed to each other, and the sleeve 20, the magnet 30, and the rotor cores 40 are fixed to one another.
