<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain trap for swirling bathtub drain introduced into a receiving chamber in a tangential direction while actualizing the high-speed bathtub drain by increasing the flow amount of the bathtub drain passing through the receiving chamber. <P>SOLUTION: The bathtub drain is introduced through a bathtub drain inflow port, a duct part 14, and an introduction port 22 into a receiving chamber 20 inside its peripheral wall 21 in the tangential direction to form a swirl flow in the receiving chamber 20. A hair catcher is washed by the swirl flow and hairs are gathered on the center. When the introduction port 22 of a plate 21P is located on the upper part of the peripheral wall 21 of the receiving chamber 20, the swirl flow in the receiving chamber 20 at its upper part is strengthened. When the plate 21P is turned upside down, the introduction port 22 is downside and water flowing from the introduction port 22 immediately flows out of a receiving chamber drain port 23 to increase the flow amount of the bathtub drain. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
