<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass manufacturing method excellent in productivity, and capable of obtaining a glass substrate having high strength and excellent protective performance even as the one comparatively thin. <P>SOLUTION: In the glass manufacturing method, after a sodium concentration decrease process is carried out for lowering the sodium concentration of a glass surface more than the sodium concentration of a glass center, and a process of chemical reinforcement treatment is carried out for immersing the glass in a molten salt containing a potassium ion to substitute a portion of the sodium ion in the glass with the potassium ion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
