<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform device of an elevator capable of remarkably improving working efficiency when an installation operation for the elevator is performed. <P>SOLUTION: The platform device includes a car floor 1, side panels 2 and 3, a landing side panel 4, a ceiling panel 5, a temporary base board 8, and a temporary handrail. The temporary base board 8 is disposed at the bottom side edge of the car floor 1 so as to project from the upper surface of the car floor 1. The temporary handrail is disposed above the temporary base board 8 so as to extend between the side panels 2 and 3. The car floor 1, the side panels 2 and 3, the landing side panel 4, and the ceiling panel 5 are permanent parts that are further used after the elevator is started to operate.
