<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refractory material supporting unit that easily sets an arbitrary length of a refractory material receiving plate for supporting a refractory material, and to provide the refractory material receiving plate, a method of forming a penetration section structure, and a penetration section structure. <P>SOLUTION: The refractory material supporting unit 20 includes: a supporting unit body 21; and a plurality of refractory material receiving plates 30 which are supported on the supporting plate of the supporting unit body 21 for supporting a thermal expansion refractory material 11. The refractory material receiving plate 30 is formed of nonflammable paper and is formed so as to be cut by a manual cutter. The refractory material receiving plate 30 is held on the supporting plate so that the longitudinal direction can be extended from the supporting plate toward wiring/piping material groups 101, 102.
