<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a revolving type working machine using a system as a given in which an electric motor is connected to a revolving hydraulic motor to exert the regenerative action of the electric motor and a battery, for protecting the electric motor and the battery while securing revolving operation when a failure occurs in an electric system. <P>SOLUTION: Communication valves 25, 26 are provided between each of both side pipe lines 14, 15 of a hydraulic motor 11 and a tank T, while an electric motor 29 is connected to the hydraulic motor 11. During revolving operation, the communication valve on the opposite side to the operated side is opened to connect a meter-out side pipe line directly to the tank T, and during decelerating operation, the regenerative action of the electric motor 29 and a battery 30 puts a brake on to store regenerative electric power in the battery 30. On the other hand, when a failure occurs in the electric system, the communication valves 25, 26 are closed and the regenerative action is stopped to secure the revolving operation in the state of putting the hydraulic brake on during deceleration, similarly to that of a normal hydraulic shovel, and to protect the electric motor 29 and the battery 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
