<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection assembly for a bicycle pedaling force that can accurately measure a pedaling force on a bicycle crankshaft. <P>SOLUTION: The detection assembly includes a first attaching member 31, a second attaching member 32, a first warpage gauge S1, and a second warpage gauge S2. The first attaching member 31 attachable to a first side of a bottom bracket hanger 26 is inserted with a crank shaft 16 and rotatably supports a crankshaft 16. The second attaching member 32 attachable to a second side of the bottom bracket hanger 26 is inserted with the crank shaft 16 and rotatably supports the crankshaft 16. The first warpage gauge S1 which is connected to the first attaching member 31 detects the warpage of the first attaching member 31.
