The present invention relates to an ontology scheme-based instance path searching method and device. A method for an instance path searching device for searching for an instance path includes: (a) receiving at least two keywords from a user and generating instance pairs for the keywords, (b) extracting each class pair corresponding to each instance pair from an ontology instance database, (c) obtaining ontology scheme paths for each class pair from an ontology scheme path database, and (d) searching for each instance path by using each ontology scheme path. According to the present invention, a path between class-based instances may be searched in order to find various complex linked relationships quickly.
