This connector is provided with: terminal members that have contact parts accessible to a member to be connected, and which are attached to respective ends of wiring materials; a housing that has an insertion concave section into which the member to be connected can be inserted, and which holds the terminal members such that the contact parts can be brought into contact with the member to be connected which is inserted in the insertion concave section; and a dust-proof body that has a concave section for occluding the insertion opening of the insertion concave section so as to prevent dust from entering the insertion concave section. The dust-proof body is formed such that the dust-proof body can be penetrated by the member to be connected with the insertion of said member to be connected into the insertion concave section.
