A filter assembly is provided which is particularly suitable for use in filtering intake air for gas turbines. The filter assembly (6) includes at least one filter cell, having a filter medium (24) arranged to filter gas passing through the cell. The filter medium (24) is affixed to the casing (10) making up the cell by a bonding agent (29, 31) which provides an inclined surface (30,32) for condensate to drain from the filter medium. A method for manufacturing the filter assembly is also provided.
