PURPOSE: An apparatus for protecting the opening and closing of a manhole cover is provided to prevent a manhole cover from being separated from a manhole by inserting a manhole protection member made of a rubber material between the manhole and the manhole cover. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus(A) for protecting the opening and closing of a manhole cover comprises a manhole(10), a manhole cover(20), and a manhole protection member(30). The manhole is formed by encircling a hole formed on the top of an underground structure. The manhole cover is placed on a step encircling the inner circumference of the manhole. The manhole protection member is inserted into the gap between the manhole and the manhole cover. |
