<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a difference in dot recording positions by record data distribution between nozzles in accordance with recording properties of an ink jet recorder, and to reduce unevenness of density even with liking processing. <P>SOLUTION: The record data for recording dots are divided into data used by a first recording element arranged in a certain recording head, and data used by a second recording element arranged in the same recording head. With respect to the record data used for recording respectively from a part of recording element rows of a first recording head and a part of recording element rows of a second recording head, in which recording areas are overlapped in an alignment direction of the recording elements, the first recording element row and the second recording element row arranged in the same recording head, in which the positions of the ends in the alignment direction of the recording elements among the recording elements used for recording in the overlapped recording areas are consistent, are paired, and the ratio of a data amount used for recording from the first recording head pair and a data amount used for recording from the second recording head pair is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
