摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light pattern display medium capable of displaying a light pattern comprising near-field light corresponding to a direction and an intensity of an oscillating dipole moment of each of randomly disposed light-emitting materials, a method for calculating light patterns capable of instantaneously observing the light pattern, and an optical authentication system. <P>SOLUTION: A light pattern display medium 10 includes: a plate-like member 22 formed by dispersing light-emitting materials formed of coumarin or its derivative on a carbon fiber material of which side face has a functional group attached thereto; a first conductive member 24 disposed on one surface 22a of the plate-like member 22; and a second conductive member 21 disposed on the other surface 22b of the plate-like member 22. The first conductive member 24 is a metal substrate 23 in which a plurality of light transmission parts 23c are disposed at equal intervals mutually.
