<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extrusion molding apparatus capable of sufficiently reducing defects in a bulkhead and an outer peripheral wall forming a cell structure when manufacturing a green honeycomb molded body, and to provide a method for manufacturing the molded body using the same. <P>SOLUTION: This extrusion molding apparatus is for manufacturing a green honeycomb molded body having a cell structure, and is provided with: a housing; a screw; a metal die having a slit; a resistance tube; and a sizing plate having a penetrating path through which a raw material composition is carried, from a surface on the upstream side to a surface on the downstream side. The penetrating path of the sizing plate has: an upstream side flow channel comprising a plurality of channels extending towards the downstream side from the surface on the upstream side; and a downstream side flow channel which extends to the surface on the downstream side.
