<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase vibration proof strength of an existing building part by a newly added building part, thereby holding the entire building after addition of a new building part in a suitable state even when horizontal oscillation occurs. <P>SOLUTION: A building 10 is constructed by a second building part 12 being added to an existing first building part 11. On the outdoor side of an outer wall of the first building part 11, a reinforcing horizontal member 31 and a reinforcing supporting column 32 are provided. These reinforcing horizontal member 31 and reinforcing supporting column 32 are coupled to columns 15a and 15b. The second building part 12 is formed of a building unit 20 having a rigid frame structure including a column 21, a ceiling girder 22 and a floor girder 23, and disposed on the side of the first building part 11. In an area where the first building part 11 and the second building part 12 face each other, the reinforcing horizontal member 31 of the first building part 11 and the ceiling girder 22 of the second building part 12 are connected to each other by a vibration control device 41. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
