METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING TOOTHED BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a toothed belt allowing a magnetic body material to be easily fixed to the teeth side of the toothed belt without changing the characteristics of a material constituting the toothed belt.

SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a toothed belt, teeth part is covered with a tooth cloth 14. The manufacture method includes a thermal spraying process of spraying the magnetic body material such as a magnetic body powder that generates a magnetic field of a predetermined intensity onto a rear face of the tooth cloth 14 by a thermal spraying device 20. In this spraying process, the magnetic body material is cold-sprayed onto the rear face of the tooth cloth 14 while cooling the tooth cloth 14 by a cooling device 30.
