<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved clamp installation tool that solves a conventional problem. <P>SOLUTION: The tool 100 includes a handle 110, an angular section 120, and a pocket 130. The pocket 130 includes a notch 132 and two tabs 134 and 136. The pocket 130 holds flanges of a clamp in a relatively closed position during the installation process. The pocket can reduce any slippage of the tool 100 and/or a mounting mechanism during installation of the clamp, thereby advantageously reducing potential damage to a pipe and/or wire and/or a mounting surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
