SERVER USED IN PORTABLE TERMINAL PRINTING SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal printing system capable of simply printing out contents transmitted from a communication terminal away from home anytime by using a portable terminal.

SOLUTION: A portable terminal printing system includes: a server; a communication terminal and a portable terminal which can communicate with the server respectively; and a printer capable of communicating with the portable terminal. The server in the system converts image data received from the communication terminal into printing data and transmits the printing data to the portable terminal in response to a request from the portable terminal. The portable terminal transfers the printing data to the printer and the printer prints out a document on the basis of the printing data. Transmission of the image data from the communication terminal to the server is performed by the transmission of mail to which the image data are attached to be addressed to an exclusive mail address corresponding to the portable terminal. The server specifies the portable terminal transmitting the printing data on the basis of the exclusive mail address.
