<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric fan capable of blowing air in a period adapting to each of a plurality of users. <P>SOLUTION: In this electric fan including a swinging device 6 causing an air blowing part 4 to perform swinging motion, a first stepping motor 26 and a second stepping motor 27 are mounted thereon as a drive source for the swinging device 6, and a control part 41 is configured so that the swinging speed and angle of the air blowing part 4 can be respectively set centering an optional direction moved by a user. Since the first stepping motor 26 and the second stepping motor 27 are used as the drive source for the swinging device 6 instead of a conventional synchronous motor, each of the swinging speed and the swinging angle of the air blowing part 4 can easily be brought into a set state only by providing suitable pulse drive signals for the first stepping motor 26 and the second stepping motor 27. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
