MULTIFOCAL CONFOCAL RAMAN SPECTROSCOPIC MICROSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multifocal confocal Raman spectroscopic microscope capable of obtaining a planar spectrum image at a high speed and obtaining a plurality of band images at the same time without damaging a sample even in the case where the sample is a living cell.

SOLUTION: The microscope comprises: a laser light source 1; a micro-lens array 2 which divides and condenses excitation light from the laser light source 1 into matrix; a pinhole array 6 which passes each luminous flux through a condensation point; an objective lens 9 by which a luminous flux passed through the pinhole array 6 is condensed into a sample; a confocal optical system 10 which condenses Raman scattering light from the sample; a fiber bundle 11 comprising a plurality of optical fibers in which luminous fluxes condensed by the confocal optical system 10 are made incident from corresponding incident ends and corresponding emission ends are arranged in one line; and light splitting means and light receiving means 12 on which luminous fluxes from the emission ends of the fiber bundle 11 are made incident.
