<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water treatment method that makes treatment performance higher, and water treatment equipment for use in the water treatment method. <P>SOLUTION: The water treatment equipment generates streamer discharge between a cylindrical electrode 3 and a linear electrode 4 by applying a high voltage between the cylindrical electrode 3 provided in a container 2 and the linear electrode 4 arranged so as to penetrate through the inside of the cylindrical electrode 3, supplies water-to-be-treated as a water droplet with a particle diameter of 1,500 μm or less like a mist into the container 2 from an injection nozzle 7, to decompose matter-to-be-treated in the water-to-be-treated by active species including ozone produced by the streamer discharge, stores the water droplets, which pass through the inside of the container 2, as primary treated water Wb in a primary treated water tank Tb, subsequently mixes the primary treated water Wb with raw water Wa to be treated, and jets the mixed water as the water-to-be-treated into the container 2 from the injection nozzle 7 again. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
